Spring Fest 2025, IIT Kharagpur, Annual Social, and Cultural Fest, Check Details

Spring Fest is the annual social and cultural festival of IIT Kharagpur. The first fest was organized in 1960. Over the years, it has grown into one of India’s largest festivals which attracts participants from across the country. The 66th edition of Spring Fest is set to take place from January 24 to 26, 2025.

This fest will have several events, competitions, and performances. With a blend of music, dance, drama, literature, and fine arts. This festival offers a platform for students to showcase their talents. You will able to see celebrity performances, engaging workshops, and thrilling competitions making it a must-attend event for young enthusiasts.

Events

The name and the details of the events of the fest are given below. 

Dramatics

1. Nukkad (Street Play): Engage audiences through powerful street plays that combine art and activism to deliver meaningful social messages.
2. Rangmanch (Stage Play): Present exceptional theatrical performances with compelling scripts and dynamic stage action.
3. I Me Myself (Mono-Act): A solo performance that highlights individual acting skills and the art of storytelling.
4. Dumbstruck (Mime): A silent performance that uses only gestures and expressions to tell a story.

Dance

1. Shake A Leg (Solo Western Dance): Showcase energetic and diverse movements in a range of Western dance styles.
